Hi,
What does the hive mind do with old PC hardware (PSU, Mobos, HDDs, CPUs, PCI cards, DVD drives, etc). The hardware I have doesn't have any usefully life left in it, these are parts or systems that very old (4+ years). My county and town occasionally have an e-waste collection event once or twice a year where you can drop off any e-waste for recycling free of charge. Tube CRTs or TVs are 5$ per item.Is there any monetary value in these parts, or a company that pays you for your e-scrap? I suppose if I had time to kill I could disassemble the hardware separating out copper/aluminum from PCBs and take the metal to the local scrap yard.
Please help.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
